Wakhan Corridor Trek

Step back in time on the legendary Wakhan Corridor Trek, a journey through one of Central Asia’s most remote and historic mountain corridors. Stretching between the towering Pamirs of Tajikistan and the snow-clad Hindu Kush of Afghanistan, the Wakhan Corridor has for centuries linked traders, pilgrims, and explorers traveling between the Silk Road and the highlands of South Asia.

This trek combines wild scenery and living culture: you’ll pass stone watchtowers from the days of the Silk Route, meet hospitable Wakhi and Kyrgyz herders, and camp under an immense sky where yaks graze on summer pastures. The route winds through rolling valleys, turquoise rivers, and sweeping high plateaus with distant views of peaks above 6,000 m.
