Nanga Parbat (8125 M)
 
Nanga Parbat (main peak) has a height of 8,125m/26,660 ft. It has three vast faces. The Rakhiot (Ra Kot) face is dominated by the north and south silver crags and silver plateau; the Diamir face is rocky in the beginning. It converts itself into ice fields around Nanga Parbat peak. The Rupal face is the highest precipice in the world.
No Mountain in the world has the largest history of failures and disasters then the Nanga Parbat (The Naked Mountain). Dozens of Mountaineer driven by the challenge its in inexorability held for them, died on its slopes. Nanga Parbat has claimed more lives than any of the mountain of Himalayas and the Karakorams and thus became the notorious as the most "Murderous Peak" of the world. Nanga Parbat has always been associated with tragedies and tribulations until it was climbed in 1953.
Some called it (killer Mountain).Nanga Parbat is the second highest peak in Pakistan and is situated on the western most bastion of the 1,500 miles Himalayas Range. Lying on the main air route from Rawalpindi to Gilgit and Skardu, Nanga Parbat can be seen in its full majesty and fury from the air.
Nanga Parbat does not constitute part of the Karakoram although the range where this mountain takes a massive rise is not very far from Karakoram. Nanga Parbat has been always remained challenge for the mountaineers and adventure seekers. It has so far claimed more than 50 lives. Nanga Parbat is a difficult approach because the over land journey to its valley involves an arduous trek across the rugged hills.
 
ITINERARY
 
Day 1: ARRIVAL
 
Arrival at Benazir International Airport, Islamabad.and transfer to Hotel.
 
Day 2: ISLAMABAD
 
Briefing at Alpine Club of Pakistan and Meeting with Liaison Officer. Overnight in Hotel.
 
Day 3:CHILAS
 
Departure for Chias via Silk Rout.Sight seeing all along the rout with the company of Indus river the longest river of pakistan It flows from Tibet northwest across the Indian-controlled portion of Jammu and Kashmir, passing between the western extremity of the Himalayas and the northern extremity of the Hindu Kush mountain range; it then courses generally south through Pakistan to the Arabian Sea. Check in hotel. Overnight in Chilas.
 
Day 4: KACHAL
 
Drive to Kachal. Overnight in Tents.
 
Day 5: NANGA PARBAT BASE CAMP
 
5 - 6 hours trek to Nanga Parbat base camp.
 
Day 6 - 40 CLIMBING
 
Climbing start towards Summit. Length of Climbing period depends on weather, fitness, and experience of the climber.
 
Day 41-43 BASE CAMP TO ISLAMABAD
 
 Early morning departure towards Islamabad via same rout.
 
 Day 44: ISLAMABAD
 
De-briefing at  Alpine Club of Pakistan, Islamabad.
